Before I began working in agencies, I worked for myself. As a freelance designer, I got the chance to work on several websites, most of which were for Hollywood television shows.

My first agency job came about promptly after my senior year at CSUF, working for Houchin and Mize advertising (now the Mize agency) in Bakersfield, California. While I was at Houchin and Mize, I worked on a plethora of unique projects that included bus passes, billboards, newspaper advertisements, marketing collateral, websites, and television commercials.

After working for Houchin and Mize, I moved on to work at Madd Dog Athletics, a company most known for Spinning® in Venice Beach, California. During my time there I worked on several manuals, brochures, and catalogs in addition to art directing photoshoots.

The next stop on my journey sent me back to

agency life, when I took a position as an Art Director at Ervin Bell Advertising in Irvine, California. While at Ervin Bell I had the opportunity to work on projects for several Fortune 500 companies, and develop and design larger scale projects. Some of these projects included direct mail campaigns, advertising campaigns, annual reports, and website design and art direction. I also had the privilege of being the team lead on several projects and working with account people on creative strategies.

And that pretty much brings us to today. I currently work in-house for Fidelity National Financial, developing marketing material for all of Fidelity's brands as well as all the technologies they continue to create. While it's technically an in-house position, the department is run more like an agency and we are given creative freedom not often found in-house, allowing me to explore and learn more techniques that have enabled me to continue growing as a designer
